Parts Warranty & Sales Terms

Last Revised: May 20, 2026

All parts sold by Auto Gator are used, recycled, or remanufactured and may show signs of wear, damage, corrosion, or prior repair. Cosmetic condition is not guaranteed. Auto Gator does not guarantee the remaining life, durability, or performance of any part. By purchasing parts from Auto Gator, Buyer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.

1. Returns & Refunds

Returns require Seller approval and the original invoice. No refunds will be issued after 5 working days from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of sale. Approved returns are subject to inspection and may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. Returned items must be in original, unaltered condition. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. Refunds on check payments are processed within 10 working days of the original invoice date; all other refunds are issued by company check.

2. Non-Returnable Items

No returns will be accepted on the following items under any circumstances: electrical parts, special order items, altered or disassembled parts, overheated or damaged parts, body cuts, and air bags. These items are sold strictly as-is with no right of return.

3. Warranty (If Applicable)

Unless otherwise stated at the time of sale, mechanical parts may include a limited warranty period — typically 30 days from the date of purchase. If a part is determined by Auto Gator to be defective within the applicable warranty period, Auto Gator may, at its sole option, replace the part or refund the purchase price. The warranty applies to the part only and does not extend to any associated labor, installation, or consequential costs.

Extended warranty coverage beyond the standard period may be available at additional cost. See a sales representative for details.

4. Conditions That Void Warranty

No warranty applies to parts that have been improperly installed, modified, altered, disassembled, overheated, or damaged after purchase, or installed without following proper procedures or without required supporting components. Warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.

5. As-Is Sale (Non-Warranty Items)

Parts sold without a stated warranty are sold ABSOLUTELY AS-IS, WHERE-IS, WITH ALL FAULTS, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Buyer acknowledges that no representations have been made by Seller except as expressly stated in writing herein.

6. Part Condition Disclosure

All parts are used and may exhibit wear, damage, corrosion, or evidence of prior repair. Cosmetic condition is not guaranteed. Auto Gator does not guarantee the remaining service life, durability, or performance of any part sold.

7. Fitment & Compatibility

Buyer is solely responsible for verifying part compatibility using part numbers, VIN, and application data prior to purchase. Auto Gator does not guarantee fitment based on year, make, or model alone. It is the Buyer's responsibility to confirm that a part is correct for their specific application before accepting it.

8. Installation Requirements

Parts must be installed by a qualified professional using proper procedures and all required supporting components. Proof of professional installation may be required to support any warranty claim. Handwritten receipts or unsupported diagnostics will not be accepted as proof. Failure to properly install or prepare parts will void any applicable warranty.

9. Buyer Responsibility

Buyer is responsible for verifying part compatibility, ensuring proper installation, and inspecting all parts prior to use. Buyer acknowledges that they are not relying on any verbal representations made by Seller or its employees regarding the condition, compatibility, or suitability of any part.

10. Limitation of Liability

Auto Gator is not liable for labor costs, installation or removal costs, shipping or freight charges, towing fees, rental expenses, loss of use, or any incidental or consequential damages of any kind arising from the purchase or use of parts sold by Auto Gator.

11. No Consequential Damage

Auto Gator is not responsible for any damage caused by the failure of a purchased part, including but not limited to engine damage, vehicle damage, property damage, or any other related losses.

12. Order Errors

Incorrect parts ordered by Buyer may be subject to restocking fees and require return approval. Shipping fees may apply. Auto Gator is not responsible for errors made by Buyer when placing an order.

13. Core Returns

Core deposits, if applicable, must be returned complete within 10 working days of purchase and must be the same type of item purchased (like-for-like). Incomplete or unprepared cores may result in reduced or denied credit and may incur additional fees. All cores must be fully drained of fluids prior to return; a $50.00 fluid disposal fee will apply to any core returned with fluids present.

All returned cores become the property of Auto Gator upon receipt and may be immediately processed, dismantled, or disposed of. Cores will not be returned to Buyer under any circumstances.

14. Shipping & Deposits

Shipping charges and deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.

15. Loading & Transportation

Buyer is responsible for providing an appropriate vehicle and for properly securing all purchased items for transport. Loading assistance, if provided by Auto Gator staff, is performed entirely at Buyer's sole risk. Auto Gator is not responsible for damage to vehicles, property, or purchased items during loading or transport. Auto Gator reserves the right to refuse or limit loading assistance if conditions are deemed unsafe or inadequate. Buyer is responsible for determining whether their vehicle is suitable for transporting purchased items.

16. Pickup & Storage

Purchased items must be picked up within a reasonable timeframe following purchase. Auto Gator may charge storage fees for items not picked up promptly and reserves the right to dispose of unclaimed items after a reasonable period without further notice or liability.

17. Transfer of Ownership

All parts become the property of Buyer upon purchase and release from Auto Gator's facility. Risk of loss transfers to Buyer at that time.

18. California Proposition 65 Warning

WARNING: Vehicles and vehicle parts may expose you to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm. For more information, visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

19. Buyer Acknowledgment

By purchasing parts from Auto Gator, Buyer confirms that they have read and understand these terms, that they accept the part(s) under these conditions, and that they understand the warranty limitations described above. These terms are incorporated into and form part of every sale transaction with Auto Gator.
