Shipping Policy
Last Revised: September 18, 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to used auto parts purchased from Auto Gator. It explains where we ship, how shipping charges and delivery estimates are handled, and what to do when a shipment arrives. Please read this policy together with our Order Acceptance & Fraud Prevention Policy and Parts Warranty & Sales Terms.
1. Shipping Area
Auto Gator ships used auto parts throughout the continental United States. Shipping availability depends on the part, destination, carrier requirements, and applicable law. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, military addresses, or international destinations must be reviewed by our parts team before an order is accepted.
2. Shipping Quotes and Methods
Shipping is quoted for each order based on the part, packaging requirements, shipment weight and dimensions, destination, and selected service. Unless expressly stated in writing, shipping charges are separate from the part price. Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including any suite, unit, business name, or other information needed for successful delivery.
Smaller parts may ship by parcel carrier. Engines, transmissions, body cuts, and other large, heavy, fragile, or oversized items may require freight service. Freight delivery requirements and any available special services, such as liftgate or limited-access delivery, must be discussed with our parts team before the order is confirmed and may result in additional charges.
3. Order Review and Processing
A quote request or order inquiry is not an accepted order. Orders are processed only after Auto Gator has reviewed the request, confirmed availability, completed any required payment or fraud verification, and sent written order confirmation. See our Order Acceptance & Fraud Prevention Policy for additional terms.
Most confirmed, in-stock orders ship within one to two business days. A business day is Monday through Friday, excluding observed holidays. Some orders require additional time for inspection, preparation, packaging, payment verification, or freight-carrier scheduling. The processing timeframe is an estimate, not a guarantee.
4. Delivery Estimates and Tracking
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates supplied by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather, traffic, service interruptions, address errors, remote-area delivery, and other events outside Auto Gator's control can affect delivery timing. When tracking is provided by the carrier, tracking information will be sent to the email address associated with the order.
5. Freight Deliveries
Freight shipments may be delivered to a terminal or arranged for delivery to the address confirmed on the order. The recipient is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and that suitable equipment, help, and space are available to receive the shipment. If a freight carrier offers an appointment, the recipient is responsible for responding promptly and coordinating delivery.
The recipient should inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt. If the carton, pallet, crate, shipping label, or part appears damaged, or if an item is missing, note the specific issue on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing whenever possible. Keep the original packaging and take clear photos of the packaging, pallet, shipping label, and any damaged area before unpacking whenever possible. Report the issue to Auto Gator's parts team promptly so we can assist with the next steps.
6. Address Changes, Order Changes, and Cancellations
Contact Auto Gator as soon as possible if you need to change a shipping address, delivery method, or order detail. Changes requested after an order is packed, tendered to a carrier, or shipped may be unavailable, cause a delay, or result in additional charges. Cancellation eligibility is governed by our Order Acceptance & Fraud Prevention Policy. If Auto Gator cancels a confirmed order before shipment because the part is unavailable, damaged, or unsuitable for sale, the refund terms in that policy apply.
Additional carrier charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address, missed delivery appointment, redelivery, storage, address correction, residential or limited-access reclassification, refused delivery, or other Buyer-requested delivery changes may be charged to the Buyer.
7. Local Pickup
Local pickup may be available for eligible orders at our Roseville, California facility. Please wait for confirmation from our parts team before arriving. The buyer is responsible for bringing an appropriate vehicle and for safely securing purchased items for transport. Pickup, loading, storage, and transportation terms are described in our Parts Warranty & Sales Terms.
8. Returns, Warranty, and Part Fitment
This policy does not change the conditions for returns, refunds, warranty coverage, or part fitment. Return approval, restocking fees, non-returnable items, and warranty terms are governed by our Parts Warranty & Sales Terms. Buyers remain responsible for confirming compatibility before purchase using part numbers, VIN, and application information.
When a return is approved because the Buyer ordered an incorrect or incompatible part, original shipping charges are non-refundable and the Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless Auto Gator agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.
9. Changes to This Policy
Auto Gator may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. The "Last Revised" date at the top of this page identifies the most recent update. Your purchase of a part after an update is subject to the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
