Our Commitment

Auto Gator is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards to our website at https://www.autogator.com.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for everyone.

Our website has been evaluated using automated tools including WAVE (WebAIM) and manual review. We currently achieve a WAVE AIM Score of 9.1 out of 10 with zero accessibility errors on our primary pages. We are actively working to resolve remaining contrast and alert items.

  • Skip navigation link to bypass repetitive content

  • All meaningful images include descriptive alt text
  • All form inputs have associated labels
  • ARIA landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) throughout the site
  • Keyboard-navigable menu with visible focus indicators
  • Mobile-responsive design that works across screen sizes and orientations
  • Cookie consent mechanism with keyboard and screen reader support
  • Colour contrast ratios meeting or exceeding WCAG 2.1 AA requirements

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our website may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations include:

  • Third-party parts search interface: Our parts inventory search is powered by a third-party system. We are working with our vendor to improve its accessibility. In the meantime, please contact us directly for parts assistance.
  • Older PDF documents: Some downloadable documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to remediate or replace these files.
